we can probably afford the best QB coach in the entire country year in and year out and coach that position up better than we ever have.

You're a fricking idiot.

ETA: I wanted to make sure i was the first to respond so he's the full length version of my post:

You're a fricking idiot. O's entire candidacy hinged on him hiring an elite OC. PERIOD. If Alleva fricks this up, AGAIN,and ends up having to retain Ensminger as the OC and not relegating him back were he belongs with the TEs, he should be fired IMMEDIATELY.

The only good to come out that is the fact that we'll have a new AD and be able to start this entire shitcan fire over again in 2018 with a, hopefully, competent AD.

Again, you're a fricking idiot.

I would assume Alleva would get a hefty raise for saving the university so much money

Alleva is going to keep following this progression until he is able to conduct a thorough search and hire the best god damn equipment manager in the country.

In LSU's case, the offensive coordinator needs to be the quarterbacks coach. The future of our offensive production needs to start and end with the quarterback. Everything else will take care of itself.

This. I mean, there's Ensingmer, Kiffin, and literally 0 other qualified candidates until we get to Equipment Managers. Makes sense to me. I mean, they do handle the equipment on a daily basis, that totally relates to calling plays on the field.

Not only that, I bet we can find an equipment manager who had a terrible run at being a Senior Equipment Manager and was fired. I'm sure he wants another shot. he has dreams. He's probably learned from his mistakes. Let's do this.

He'd cost way less and be able to hire the best position coaches money can buy! Hell, he may even rip his shirt off!

Sit back and watch the money pile up.

Winning!

In Alleva's mind.
