I agree I am for Patterson and that is who I thought/ think it was. If he has somehow changed his mind or had second thoughts then we probably do not need to mess with Franklin and just hire the Gus BUS.

We will hire a man in the 45-50 age bracket.

I've been to both, you'd be surprised how similar they are. Bobby Petrino always said Arkansas is exactly like home, except not as cold.

I haven't been to Boise, but looking at pictures they do seem very similar. Boise just looks bigger.

I'd love to get Peterson or Patterson
and
I may be in the minority but I would be ok with Art Briles IF he can hire a top notch DC. The man has good recruiting ties in Texas and every decent Arkansas team in history has been Texas heavy in talent.

Briles would be te perfect hire provided he can get a good DC. The guys offense is very fluid just list Petrinos was

I don't know about perfect, but I wouldn't cry if it were Briles. You're spot on about the DC Without a solid DC, Briles would likely get eaten alive in the SEC

i just thought my "Chris Peterson to Arkansas" thread had disappeared. My scrolling skills evidently suck. i found the other thread.

but for some reason, when i put a new post in it, it doesn't return to the front page.

I just got a word from a sports medicine doctor friend and he also says it is 95% likely to be Chris Petersen.

Unlike old Bob who just goes on his own sports smarts, the doctor knows a couple of folks.

well, he does live and practice in arkansas, with high profile clientele. often flies out and works with the Cardinals and Royals organizations too.

...completely agree.

Seattle Children's Hospital (where i believe Sam Petersen was/is treated) is ranked #7 nationally for pediatric cancer treatment. St. Jude's in memphis is ranked 6th, so there is little difference between the two. LINK
