Who has more market value?
Who is more likely to be offered a HC job outside of LSU?
Who is the hotter commodity?
Which could LSU most easily replace?
To me the answers to these questions are all the reasons you don't hire O as HC.

Aranda. Would love to keep Coach O in the perfect world, but I doubt he stays if we snub him for Fisher. I hope I am wrong.

Just looking at the Rant and NOLA.com comments, I don't think "casul" fans aka the Walmart T-shirt crew gets it.
Coach O is "one of us!" Look, I like the guy but when Aranda is competing in the playoffs and O has LSU in the Cotton Bowl it's going to be a hard pill to swallow.
Aranda was Miles most brilliant move ever. If the goofball would have just not been so stubborn on O, this entire coaching search is a moot point, as LSU is in playoff contention.
Aranda must be retained and I can't see him sticking around to report to someone who obviously is less of an expert than he is like O.

Aranda every freaking day of the week.
he's the reason why that bama game went the way it did, and his defense is getting better and nastier by the week. his in-game adjustments are straight awesome.
