That account has 131 followers. The one reporting Rees from the lsu side is one of the basement podcasts that tries to be the first to report everything and gets 99% wrong.

ETA: Quinn is worrisome as OL coach. He can coach other positions

This is what I’m confused on. What position was Quinn coaching previously?

Well Quinn has coached 26 seasons in CFB and 21 are with Kelly. The 5 others were as HC at Buffalo. So Quinn is coming.

I hope we can get his DL/RC

Analyst, S&C, and OC/OL

He's also been interim HC at 2 stops following Kelly leaving, so he may stick in ND for the final part of this year

I saw a ranking of top OL coaches and Quinn was #4 on the list.

LSU's Davis was ranked 40 something.

I want whoever Kelly wants.

Will not win running three tight ends in the SEC.

I started watching the full game recording of ND-USC on YouTube from earlier this season. Curious where you're getting the three TEs from. I've mostly seen three and four-wide looks, one back, QB in pistol, some motion, some RPO, some tempo. On receiver formations, I've seen trips, bunch, two to either side or one side with one on the other. There's a lot of formation variety.

I do see some more conventional sets but mostly in short yardage and goal-line. I've seen maybe a couple of two TE sets but no three. Maybe they employed it against another opponent. From what I have seen and read, Kelly's offenses are diverse and tailored to what their personnel can do and who their opponent is.

Quinn is a tough one. He is a BK guy and most think Quinn got the job when harry heistand left the program b/c he was a bk guy and not bc of merit. ND's recent oline success was largely built on heistands ability to coach. Quinn is nowhere near the coach Heistand was but he does recruit. His issue is development. I don't know what options are out there but I would try to find someone else but he's not a bad option.

Basically, Quinn is serviceable b/c of his recruiting. Del shouldn't be allowed to set foot on campus.

I think you are basically correct on your assessment. Quinn could be a great recruiter for you but you can put him with tight ends and hire someone else to develop the line.

Keep laughing like an idiot!
