Interesting considering some of the stories I've heard while he was a coach at Ole Miss.

It was widely reported on message boards that Marlon Brown's grandmother complained about alcohol on his breath when he showed up at their house in Memphis while at UT. Doesn't mean it's true...but let's just say there was just as much mention of it on UT boards at the time as there has been on Bama boards on this latest alleged incident with Sarkisian.

Neither Saban nor anyone else at Alabama has even hinted that.

Sark was brought in to consult on offense with Kiffin....it was also a test run as Lane, according to most, wanted to pursue head coaching opportunities this year. His alcoholism was concern so he was being evaluated on this issue as well.

With his potential as an SEC OC, I'd be willing to put him on a short leash and give him a chance. I would think he deserves a second chance.

Congrats on 26+ years of sobriety. That's huge.

Nothing more than the assumptions of media and message board posters. Maybe it happens, but all of this has only been assumption.
