What about Pelini, Fitzgerald, Hoke, Sumlin, Tuberville, Petersen... anyone else in line for a head coaching job at some point has a better shot than Chavis.

Pelini isnt leaving Nebraska, Fitz isnt leaving his dream job... and the rest, if you want them take them, they are three steps down from where you are at right now.

Sorry but the Moeller crap never happened, if you go over and read their boards there are tons of people who were involved with UM that say that stuff is BS. Cops who arrested Moeller said it had nothing to do with Miles.

Did you ever see the video tape of Moeller drunk? I saw bits of it....he is clearly carrying on about his wife.

Lets see....you find out your wife is bumping uglies with someone else, so you go get drunk.

Yeah I know....far fetched eh?

do you know how stupid you are? we aren't firing Miles. If he leaves we're going to have to hire someone and all of those people have a better chance than Chavis.

yeah he won't leave that $750,000 salary behind.

Then you don't know jack crap about Pat Fitzgerald. He wanted the Northwestern Job, has repeatedly said he will not leave, and has said he wants to be like Paterno at Northwestern. Dude does not need money, because he has more then enough.

Now about the others, you attack me, and I blow a hole in what you say, and now you respond with more crap. No you are correct, LSU is not firing Miles, but if he leaves, reason number 1 is LSU fan nation, which by and large has made his life hell. And all the names you named, beyond the first couple would be a huge downgrade from Miles.

how old are you dude? You post like a 14 year old. This is a business. You think if Miles walks away from 3.75 mill its because he has hurt feelings?

You can keep posting if we hire Chavis.

LSU's next head coach (if Miles leave) will be either Pelini, Mullen, or Patterson. LSU will not let it get past those three.

JT Curtis has a better chance at implementing the veer at LSU than Chavis does of becoming the head coach.

I don't have a lot of faith in Alleva to make the right hire. What you or I want is pretty irrelevant.

I've heard that one about Mandeville. Its pretty spot on.

Did you happen to read the USA Today sports section today by any chance?

Yep, actually I did. Amongst a lot of other stuff I read, but hey I am 14. And ignorant, and dumb, and stupid, and oh yeah, have no concept of LSU football, because I do not have 30,000 posts.... Might as well throw in fat ugly and a devil worshiper while I am at.

I hope you get your wish if he leaves and get the coaches you want, but I am willing to bet it won't be. Maybe it will be Chavis, maybe it wont. But the point made in general is the same, it will not be a huge national coach. Too late in the recruiting season.

Patterson
Mullen
Pelini

I'd be shocked if all 3 turned it down. That said, I don't think we'll be rid of the plague of Miles.

you are correct, I don't, not nearly as well as the GREAT AND POWERFUL Maximus and your 30,100 posts... Dude, really I mean honestly... 30,000 in 6 years... thats 5000 a year, that is way more time tied to a computer then I could possibly want. I hope you at least get paid for this....... I wont go further that. I wish you luck, and hope a few of your 30,000 posts have shown far more intelligence then the name calling I have seen here.

Mullen would be good, Patterson would be great, Pelini would be a letdown, and unfortunately, I'd think h'ed be the most likely to come to LSU of those three.

I'd like to throw in Troy Calhoun as a wildcard choice.

I have a lot of faith that the athletic department knows where its bread is buttered. it can't afford to botch the hire.

And everyone saying look at Florida... I do believe Muschamp was their guy from the start. Then he went out and got Weis. You kidding me? I'd KILL for that staff.
