What's done is done and no amount of bitching and moaning can change that. I think Orgeron and company are going to surprise some people.

Remember remember, we got shafted in November.

I've already accepted it. I just hope he surprises the shite out of all of us.

The very idea behind this site's existence is to have a place for discussing LSU football, something none of us have direct control over. I don't see the issue with people posting their frustrations.

The people on this board can't accept what is the real truth... That LSU is not the hot girl they thought she was.

Don't get me wrong, I was hoping for Jimbo or Herman but I have seen a lot of LSU seasons come and go and Orgeron is no Hallman. That is an absurd thing to say.

Not when you have a fricking retard at the AD position.

Shouldn't you be off doing hot yoga and meditating on the importance of your children and world peace? GTFO.

This.
As a fan, just be a fan. How is it accepting someone's subjective opinion of "mediocrity" when we (fans) have zero control over any of it.

I'm pissed and will still be supporting LSU, so there's that.
I'd be much happier seeing Ensminger, Jenkins, Peveto, and Grimes leave

This isn't about acceptance anymore.
This is akin to a morbidity and mortality report in medicine. When something goes very wrong with a patient a M&M is conducted to identify what went wrong, why it went wrong and what can be done to prevent this from happening in the future (if anything).
For someone like Orgeron to have been hired without many other candidates being considered before him, something had to have gone terribly wrong. The heart of this situation is Alleva. What led to his decision making?
I cannot decide whether Alleva is a coward or he is just simply incompetent. Did he correctly surmise that there are many coaching candidates with better qualifications to coach at LSU, but hiring them would've been a tougher sell to the fans so he decided on the easy sell? Hiring Orgeron was convenient. It was lazy. It was cowardly. This way he didn't have to do his job and he can simply say "the fans want him, the players want him, so let's do it." He didn't do his job, he simply caved to outside opinion. Is he too cowardly to function at his job? This is clear dereliction of duty.
Or, does he simply have no idea what's he's doing and thinks Orgeron is the most qualified candidate for the job? Orgeron is not more qualified by any measure than Fleck, Gundy, Fedora, Fuente, we could go on and on, he's amongst the least qualified coaches we could have hired.
So that's where I am. I'm just trying to figure out how we got here.

No shite. We could have had the guy who lost to Navy, SMU and Memphis in the last eight weeks.
Or maybe the guy who lost to North Carolina, Clemson and Louisville by six touchdowns.
Until we embrace that kind of consistent money-in-the-bank excellence we are doomed.
Posted on 11/26/16 at 5:21 pm to genuineLSUtiger
STFU pussy. How much money have you put into LSU???

Yeah he's lost it. He did the same to me earlier. Totally can't deal with his angst. Total meltdown like an angry undergrad SJW.
