Is he gone or something? Everyone is talking about his replacement. This guy is our only stud recruiter left. And by the way not to bad of a coach.

LSU can pretty much recruit itself. Not hard to recruit here.

It's not coaching or anything like that with him. He must be let go, though.

I agree. But I never said he was a bad recruiter. Its not hard to recruit here though. Losing him and Porter MIGHT hurt recruiting this year, but it wont long term. BDP and Earl Lane were good recruiters too, but we dont miss them.

Lafell = 1st round
Tolliver = 1st round
Randle = 1st round

Looks like coaching is not a problem. Maybe the OC and the qb getting them the ball is?

I keep seeing this, but with no 'rest of the story' - did he sleep with someone's wife or something? Hell email it to me if you don't want to post it please! ( theghost_and_thedarkness@yahoo.com )

I just don't know what he has done wrong to lose his job? I think he is one of our bright spots on offense. Porter on the other hand can go.
Our running backs never lived up to their hype. Also playing the wrong running backs all the time. You don't run an option with Chuck. Holliday was wasted away on the bench for 4 years. Florida showed us 4 times how to use him.

Did you watch the same Toliver as me this year?
I agree lafell has had some drops but Toliver has been solid.

I agree about Lafell. But I just stated that he will become a 1st rounder. Do you think different?
Porter has really been over hyped as a coach. His recruiting has kept him employed.

in 06 Lafell was a nonfactor. the 4th WR in a 3 WR scheme for all intents and purposes. JR threw to him against USL and like a couple times against ND. everything he's done of significance has been done in the last 3 yrs. not really sure what to say about the drops, just seems like he loses concentration unless there's a TD on the line.
