What are the chances Hud leaves after a 3-peat in the Nola bowl

I know he'd leave to go to Miss State if Mullen is fired but do y'all see him going anywhere else?

Never said he was getting fired. I said IF. I don't think he's getting fired this year but I was asking if there was anywhere he'd go instead of Miss st

I'm sure he'd go most anywhere if it's the right situation and the right price. Maybe Vanderbilt when they lose Franklin.

He'd definitely jump at any SEC head job, in my opinion. Who could blame him?
However, I don't see him being offered such a position until he shows he can beat at least one BCS opponent. He has the bowl games on his resume, hopefully an outright conference championship this year, but no BCS win yet.
I do hope he eventually get that top offer, because that'll mean he did great things with our program, and hopefully open up our pool of potential candidates to a level we've never had before.

Hud isn't leaving this year. I wouldn't have been surprised if he left the last couple of years but I would be shocked if he leaves after this one.

What more can he do at ULL?

hud isnt going anywhere. he is king in lafayette, a city that is full of his type. anywhere else he is just a football coach.... in lafayette, he is HUD.

Money talks and he is gone when the money calls

Yeah, it's a real perfect match. Like if Beetlejuice were to coach Opelousas High.

DUH? What is this wizardry? Is that short for something? Why do you use these words?

I wonder what name he will put on his resume for his present employer?

Probably just list himself as a permanent tenant of udtiger's head.

nah, he looks more upper lafayette. notice the colored hair, kind of like the ull baseball team. he is also in his fighting stance, so obviously he trains in the martial arts. im guessing he removed his tapout shirt so he wouldnt get it bloody. he also looks short, so no doubt he drives a jacked up f250.

The jacked up teeth and poor unkempt appearance really screams "I love smoking crack and sharing needles" which is just a long way of saying "I'm from Opelousas." He probably reads at a 3rd grade reading level so that's probably a little out of the Opelousas range, though.

Are you saying that you don't think he will have the opportunities to leave this year?

There's just a different mood, hearing different things. It'll be his 4th year with a lot of his original guys being seniors. The last year of Terrance Broadway, Alonzo Harris, Jamal Robinson. He'll be in line for another raise after this year, probably getting him over $1mil.
Not saying he'd turn down every single job, but it's going to take something big for him to leave IMO.

I'm sorry but to think HUD will stay where he can only win the Nola bowl is crazy.
