Though Jim Harbaugh is expected to land at Michigan, NFL teams such as Bears, Jets, Raiders continue making overtures to change his mind.

How is it too late, harbaugh was just released from his contract like yesterday and teams are firing this morning. Harbaugh will listen and i think is partially open to a few ideas.

Maybe that's where Arthur's plane was heading. Glazer must have had it wrong...

I disagree. Until papers are signed and he has a press conference, he's not the head coach at UM.

Disclaimer: I think he ends up at UM, but I don't think it's completely over.

frankly makes me sick. Worked with him in Denver before he got the ESPN gig. Whatever the league wants him to say, he will. Period.

It's not like Michigan is in a position to pull the offer off the table at this point. They have showed their hand. Why wouldn't he at least sit back for a day or two and see what the NFL teams are going to offer up?

Looks like it's John not Jim.

$9 million and full control of an NFL > $8 million and coaching in college.

Why should they? They want a proven NFL coach like everyone in the NFL does.

If I owned the Bears or Jets I'd be throwing the book at him. The Jets just fired their coach and GM. They would love nothing more to bring in a guy like Harbaugh to turn them around.

Not saying that's going to happen but it's plausible.

I am hearing the same as @Alex_Flanagan on Jim Harbaugh: NFL teams are calling him as we speak.

why? what did I say that was wrong? hell I even said I think he goes there.

There's most definitely an outside chance something changes his mind last minute. ESPN has already screwed up once before on the michigan job, why wouldn't they again?

Today should be very interesting. Watching Harbaugh's agent would be entertainment. Notice that LSU's DC is not signing, yet. Experience tells you that it is not a done deal until the papers are signed. Miles wants Michigan, and it could still happen. Chief is not going to be stuck with a buyout clause. Remember Pat Sullivan....he was driving to UAB to take the HC when he heard the announcement on the radio...he did not get the job, so he turned and went to Samford. Crazy business.

Atlanta has to be a very attractive NFL job, for example.

To use the CC Board mantra, NFL teams in need of a HC should "make Harbaugh say no."

I mean, the guy is going to a declining college program in a declining conference in an obsolete region of the country. Why wouldn't you at least try?

I think since Michigan has announced that a deal has been made and Harbaugh will be announced on Tuesday.
