Miles is an offensive coach. Peveto and Mallory did not coach offense. Hmmm.

Funny, I never saw you make that distinction when you were raggin on Miles.
My point is that it was stupid to criticize for hiring from within--sometimes that works. It was also stupid to criticize the Co-DCs--sometimes that works too. Miles mistake was hiring those 2 particular coaches--it didn't matter where they came from, they fricking sucked and were not ready to be SEC coordinators.

it was stupid to criticize hiring within when you are coming off of a national title and could go out and get basically any qualified DC you want? Wow.

Funny that i didn't compare Miles hiring a DC to someone someone hiring a puppet coordinator to work beneath them? You need to go on another racist tirade to clear your head.
To even start a thread comparing Meyer hiring anyone as OC to Miles hiring the goon twins as DC says everything about your football knowledge. Does Saban hiring a DC mean the same to you as Miles doing it too?

Meyer promoting this guy is very much like Saban promoting Muschamp - it really doesn't fricking matter because they run the system of the head coach, the coordinator just calls plays.
