No link, he just said teams around the league think that if he loses that he could "become available" and that's partially why they are taking so long to hire coaches

It seems unlikely but would change the coaching search landscapes considerably

Wow that would be a stupid move by the Broncos. Fox has made some bone headed decisions but he is a good coach.

No doubt.

But that would open a couple flood gates

Teams are still interested is Gase, and he'd be more willing to leave

Teams would jump on Mr Conservative John fox

And the jack del rio would make this board shut down for a while

Why? If Denver loses Del Rio will have his Raiders contract done within 2-3 days.

46-18 (8 of those losses came with Kyle Orton & Tebow)

Del Rio wants the job, that's been put in the public for weeks now. Please stop. He's already interviewed twice and been the frontrunner for weeks.

As soon as Denver loses he will be the head coach within days.

Del Rio, a Bay Area native, really wants this job. #Raiders

It wouldn't surprise me. I don't think he & Elway have the greatest working relationship.

You dont fire Job Fox unless you know you have somebody waiting in the wings. Somebody proven. Shanahani? Saban?

Not that I don't think he can coach, but I mean a lot of people can guide that kind of team to the success they've had.

If he's gone and Payton retires, Broncos will be blown up next year.

He has keys to a Ferrari and drives it like a minivan

But that's still a risky move to make

Unbelievable... But not impossible.

But he would jump at the chance to be DC for lame duck head coach Les Miles, right?

I think the odds are that you would see me on the sidelines wearing Orange & Blue before you saw Nick.

I think Shanny would also be a long shot.
