What are your thoughts on Jim Tressel not being interviewed? Im not trying to be a homer, but when are they going to at least give the guy an interview? He's already publicly said he would listen to the Browns on 97.1 The Fan. What the Browns need more then anything is a leader, somebody who has head coaching experience and is organized and structured...thats Jim Tressel to a T. We have the youngest team in the NFL with the most salary cap space in the NFL and tons of draft picks. When are they going to stop with all of these first time head coaches? We need stucture to lead this young team. We have already interviewed 10000 coaches and now we are talking about bringing in Adam Gace from Denver? REALLY???? He has 1 year of OC experience and we all know that Peyton Manning runs the show in Denver. Just bring in Tressel and give him an interview. I know you should never listen to the fans, but Browns fans have been through enough. A new poll on ESPN shows overwhelming support for Tressel.

They are waiting until after signing day to hire Saban. The deal is already in place, but Nick doesn't want any recruits to decommit. After Nick takes the Cleveland job Kiffin will be named head coach at Alabama

Yeah Adam Gase from Denver is who they are waiting on. Like i already stated, he has 1 year of OC experience. That is NOT what the Browns need. The Browns need somebody with head coaching experience. The underlying problem is this, Gase has the same agent that former Browns coach Rob Chudzinski has. This is a bad spot for the Browns which continue to make bad decisions.

Who wants a job where you may have only one year to get it done. That place is turning into the Raiders outfit.

Im on board with hiring Jim Tressel, but thats just me. I dont see how Jim Tressel can be any worse then Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski and on and on. Hire somebody who has been in charge for once. We dont need another experimental coordinator. Adam Gase doesnt have enough experience to make it in Cleveland. This fan base is fired up to a level i havent seen since the move. Gase would be a sitting duck!

Typical Browns. No plan, no backup, no foresight, no consistency.

They're about to have their 5th coach in 7 years. Unreal.

come on man, why did you have to spill the beans - this was suppose to be a surprise process move.

Sounds like Tressel will be going to Detroit with Jim Caldwell according to ESPN reports.

You would have to be pretty desperate to take this job. Maybe the worst franchise in the NFL. When was their last playoff appearance?

5 pro bowlers, 5 picks in the first 3 rounds, and the most salary space in the league. There are much worse jobs.

Plus the Browns led 7 games at halftime and ended up losing. We arent as far away from the playoffs as most believe. Coaching adjustments were not made in any of those games, thus the reason why Chudzinski is looking for a new job. The Browns, contrary to popular belief, may actually be the most underrated job.
