I just got a call from an old feller friend.
Next Tuesday, Dec. 4th, Chris Peterson will be introduced as the new head coach at Arkansas.
Scoff if you may, then you can eat your crow next Tuesday.

Chris Peterson is either UALR's AD or the prominent Psychology professor at the University of Michigan who passed in October.

Admins, I know the rule about unsubstantiated rumors. But don't whack this thread. I want to bump it when it's wrong.
ETA: Petersen, a Scientologist, turned down $4 million per year from UCLA. I'm not sure why the scientoligist would turn down Los Angeles and then leave for Northwest Arkansas the next year.

Yeah, it is one of the greatest internet troll/rumors ever because there is another Chris Petersen who is a Scientologist who shows up on their rolls during internet searches, but he is an accountant or something like that.
