I am tired of some posters blaming the LSU fans for Les wanting to leave or interviewing for the little ten job.

WE ARE the BEST FANS in all of COLLEGE FOOTBALL. Other teams fear us. Sports Announcers spend a lot of time talking about us and giving us credit for the outcome of games.

I for one have been to a MICHIGAN Game at the Big House and I can tell you that their fans are NOTHING like us or ANY OTHER SEC school. They are passive and are worried about keeping up with the Joneses!

I do not want Les to leave but if he does then good luck and godspeed. HOWEVER, it isn't my fault OR ANY OTHER TIGER FANS FAULT.

We will find another coach and move on. Les will do good up there BUT will NOT contend for a BCS National Title.

The SEC has better talent and the market up there is flooded with schools. He will win off and on against Ohio St and beat Mich ST therefore the Michigan Faithful will be happy with that. They don't care about National Titles. The Holiday Bowl is fine every other year. If they get the Rose Bowl they are MORE than excited. When they lose they will blame the time zone difference!

Bottom line - LSU has THE BEST FANS IN AMERICA! I am proud to say that I BLEED Purple and Gold...(leaving soap box now)...lol

People who do this are some ignorant mofos. They have no clue as to what they are talking about.

I agree. Most coaches know the criticism they receive is earned based on their performance. You cannot have rabid fans serving as the envy of college football when the team is winning without also accepting that the same venom will be directed against you when coaching brain farts contribute to losing.

Les knew it when he took the job, and the next LSU coach (whenever that day comes), will understand it as well.

Les will hope Michigan fans will be just as passionate if he takes that job. He's got to know that what he has here is rare.
