also something that just got brought to my attention...
Aaron mentioned that Pete was the surgeon, well if you remember the comics, Pete was the a-hole doctor who got his arse beat the ever living shite out of by Rick.
Which then leads to the Scavengers, and then the Roaming Herd that destroys the ASF's fences for the first time.

I guess I don't remember Pete. I just remember the female doc who sacrificed herself after getting bit in order to save someone by doing surgery instead of cutting off her arm or something.

I don't remember the scavengers either. I guess the whole saviors storyline is all I remember about early Alexandria. And finding the bullet factory.

those are the guys that are raiding places in DC, Glenn and the black guy (can't remember his name) went out on a scouting trip and they noticed them. They followed the group back the ASF...bring a hoard with them, Carl gets his eye socket blown out.

I don't recall ever hearing about a Douglass being casted, so I think that Douglass=Deanna

I remember Glenn and the black guy going out and now I remember the hoard. Douglass shoots Carl and he then hands the reigns over to Rick after Rick's group fights back the hoard. Am I remembering right?

yup, at least that's how I think I remember it
I don't think they can fit that all into this season, but that's definitely the drama we will be dealing with in the next 5+ episodes

I think making Douglass a woman would change the storyline somewhat.
And it doesn't make much sense to have a female leader around if Negan is in this world. He'd have kidnapped her back to his place and made her one of his wives just to show her community he could.

Didn't morgan start a relationship with Michonne and he was bit during the wall breach? I'm curious to see if they bring him back for that, he seems really far behind them now.

yeah, but I'm really thinking that Sasha gets with Morgan instead of Michonne. Michonne then gets with Rick, especially since Andrea has been dead for awhile

Sooo, that Jeff person in the episode thread has read the comics and is pretending he has not, yes?
I mean, if that isn't a pretty apt summary of ASZ, The Hilltop, and The Kingdom and their troubles with Negan and his group, then I don't know what is.
I think I remember him doing this same thing last season.

I'm thinking Sasha is the new Andrea. She's the sniper and everything. She lost her brother and her lover (like Dale to Andrea in the comics) and has been around the group through all of Rick's loss as well.
ETA: Michonne would make just as much sense in the show but I feel like that would diminish the storyline with the Kingdom later. That's assuming they choose to bring in a Kingdom.
