It's finally happened, mates. After eight long weeks, my free copy of Prince Harry's best-selling autobiography "SPARE" has arrived in my Libby account.

I will post a full review upon finishing the book, which is read by the author himself.

They advertise it in mine constantly.
I couldn’t imagine wanting to read it.

Its so funny - he's such a whiny bitch.

I am enjoying it in the same way that I enjoyed all the 2016 election books written by left wing authors.

Schadenfreude-ish feelings is how I'd best describe my inclination to listen to it.

Be careful. Word is that when listening to this audiobook you will find yourself in a dangerous car chase with Pappa Rotsee

Mates I'm about 33% of the way through, have been mixing in other books (Ryan Holliday as always, a Kate Quinn WWII novel, and the first of the indispensable Civil War epic by our fellow baw Shelby Foote.

Harry seems like a decent enough bloke, but one who is handicapped by his own privilege. He's no understanding of the struggle that most people feel in life. and as a result he's completely tonedeaf - even with the best ghostwriters and editors money can buy.

This book is giving me an appreciation for Elizabeth and William and Kate. Harry fancies himself as a renegade, and rightly points out that his overcoming his mother's death and serving his country marked his rites of passage, but I'd argue that he's never truly struggled and that he runs from obstacles rather than confronts them. Choosing to serve is admirable, but aside from that his growth (so far) is nonexistent. He definitely cries victim far more often than a strong young man of privilege should, which is basically the opinion that most of us have of him.

do you think he would’ve had this tone if he would not have married Megan?

An autistic ginger (who is a royal) who got swindled by gold digging d-list actress wrote a book. How bad can it be?

No, he's an insufferable count. Listened to a biography of Katherine the Great and then watched the HBO miniseries with Helen Mirren. So much better than Harry the count
