His best book, IMO, is Sphere. It was a psychological rollercoaster. Unfortunately, the movie was terrible.

Sphere is my favorite of his too. Congo was also gripping. Both those books captivated me more than Jurassic Park but that's prob Bc I had already seen the movie.

The book is far superior to the stupid Spielberg movie. Lost world is not as good, but some of the other Crichton books are awesome. Sphere is probably his best, most underrated book. The movie blew arse.
