That'll happen during the chaos. The fade ins are for the aftermath, letting people soak in what they just witnessed. You don't see the wolf head sewn on until the last scene, after seeing Cat float downriver

I still think it would be too grim, IMO. I think the screen just goes black as it did for Ned's death. Cat will go nuts and get her throat slit, boom credits.

I remember reading something where a cast or crew member was talking about an animal's head being sewn onto a corpse. I think and I hope that they will try to make it as gruesome as possible for the shock effect.

This or Cat floating down the river I think would be better for the first scene of the finale. Like others said I think Arya taking an axe to the back of the head should be the last scene for episode 9. Robb and Cat dying will be tragic for most show viewers, but people thinking Arya is dead will be chaos and get the reaction the RW deserves.

Off topic but I read a post on westeros that kind of put Euron and the Iron Born raiding in a new light...they're pretty much just a vessel for GRRM to weaken the Tyrells. Makes sense to me.

I'd make it Arya with the axe, and start off the next episode with the aftermath of the Red Wedding, with Robb with Grey Wind's head, the Freys celebrating and mocking their surviving hostages, and end it with throwing a naked dead Cat in the river. Make it similar to in Schindler's List when they're burning the bodies of the Jews by the thousands.

I'm down with Mance being the letter writer, but it's not Val's baby and Val isn't Mance's woman. Dalla was Mance's woman, and she's dead.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I'm pretty damn positive that Dany is going to head to Asshai once the whole Mereen and Yun'kai situation is sorted out. After all, everything Quaithe has told Dany has come true, so heading to Asshai would seem to be the prudent thing to do.

Does anyone else think Varys has captured Tyrek so he can make him Lord of Casterly Rock once Aegon comes to the throne and obviously has to eliminate the immediate Lannister family?
