I think about the books all the damn time. These theories are stuck in my head and I go back and forth on them. I've watched pretty much every top notch TV series of the past 10-15 years, read tons of books, etc. but have never been pulled in like this.

answering some of the questions about my crackpot theory, i reread Joffrey's wedding last night; he goes over to Tyrion and dumps the the wine over Tyrion's head. He then commands that Tyrion be his cupbearer and refill him chalice. Tyrion refilled and Joff took a big drink of it and placed the it on the table.
Then Margeary and Joff went over to cut the dove pie. During this, a serving man puts the pigeon pie covered with lemon cream in front of Tyrion, but he does not eat any of it.
Joff comes back to Tyrion and commands that he serve him again. Tyrion gets the cup and Joff takes a big drink again. He then notices that Tyrion has not touched the pigeon pie and takes a big handful of it. Joff starts to choke and drinks more wine to wash down the pie but spits up the wine and is still choking, and soon dies.
During the trial, they talk about opening up Joffrey's throat and not finding a morsel of pigeon pie. If the wine had been poisoned, they would have found some of the pie because Joff drank some of the wine before he ate Tyrion's pie.
I know there are some parts that do not make sense, but this is my crackpot theory that I came up with one night and have been thinking about it. Just Joff choked only after eating the pie not drinking from the chalice.

I like the casting. I always pictured Mance as a really smart and kind of creepy guy for some reason.

I agree. While I can't put his face to my image of Mance, he is a good enough actor to pull it off.
