Do we have a thread on the S7 leaks?? I don't remember if we ever did or not.

I can't remember, do they forge the swords of dead members of the Kingsguard to the throne? Or was it forged by the swords of conquered people?
The Throne was forged by King Aegon the Conqueror's dragon out of the swords of all of the conquered lords in the Seven Kingdoms who had bent the knee to him.

Show question- since Stannis has been killed off-
Who hold's Storm's End?
Who hold's Dragonstone?
Highgarden?

A small force of Loyalists who never bent the knee, but are still under siege.

Pretty sure the Tyrells still hold Highgarden.

Mace got blowed up, didn't he?
Posted on 5/4/17 at 7:32 am to Saskwatch
Mace is the lord of high garden at the end of the books so far and he might have someone running day to day while he is in King's Landing.

The Queen of Thorns runs High Garden whether she is in town or not.

I didn't think there were any crackpot theories that I hadn't heard about already. Heck, actually I didn't think there were many that hadn't been pretty much resolved one way or another by now.
But I was just watching the latest Smoke Screen YouTube on GoT and he mentioned a theory that Bronn was actually secretly a surviving member of House Reyne, the house that Tywin Lannister destroyed, inspiring the song The Reynes of Castamere.
Anybody ever heard this theory and what support has been put forward for it?

Don't know about the books, but in the show the Dornish picked him out being from King's Landing as soon as he opened his mouth.

What has Bronn done to hint that he was anti-Lannister? All he has ever done in the books and show is serve Tyrion, and on the show serve Jamie.

It's an interesting theory, and I'd love to see Bronn have more backstory than the scant amount given, but I have to say if someone wiped out my family the last thing I would do is help them or their (supposed) kids in any way.
The only spin I can think of is that he's been using the Lannisters to curry favor and rebuild power while waiting for the perfect moment to strike, which sounds waaay more like Littlefinger than Bronn to me. I mean, why not get revenge while the Lannisters were on their heels in the War of the Five Kings? Chaos ruled and no one aside from Tywin seemed to know their arses from their elbows.

I pretty much agree with you guys. It seems like a long shot.
I did some googling and here are a couple of discussions of the issue (the last two are just mentions in one or more of the follow up posts in the thread):
Reddit discussion on Bronn = House Reyne
ASOIAF thread #1 mentioning the theory
ASOIAF thread #2 mentioning the theory

In celebration of this board's new location, I've got a new Crackpot theory: Why Tywin would not allow Tyrion to go to the Free Cities like the other members of his family.
Tywin directly banished Tysha to Braavos and forces her to work in a whorehouse befitting what she's done to their family name and also as additional cover if Tyrion actually impregnated her creating the true heir to Casterly Rock. Well Tyrion was already a whoring maniac by the time he was 16, and if he visited all the Free Cities, it's likely Tyrion would run into Tysha in Braavos at a whore house. And while Tywin no doubt took joy in depriving Tyrion of this trip, his main reason was to not risk Tyrion finding out about the truth as well as a possible child of his.

I thought Tywin had everyone of his soldiers run train on her.
No Maury running around Westeros

Well, additional security on top of that. If she comes out looking like Myrcella (which I think she did), then it makes it harder to deny.

This has got to be the longest thread in the history of the Book Board.

It's sad that the Lord of the Fries has apparently given up writing it.
