Not sure what sort of level you're looking for, but I highly suggest Henry Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson. It's an excellent opener to the world of Austrian economics.

No problem

If you read it, let me know how you like it.
BTW, Mises Institute has a free PDF copy of it for download here.

I'm reading this now per your suggestion. Only problem with the online version is I want to highlight every other sentence for future reference. This book is remarkably on point.

Economics for Real People: An Introduction to the Austrian School - Gene Callahan

I liked it because it is written very plainly. Not hard to understand at all, it was an easier read than most economics books. He also quotes alot of books by famous Austrian economists, so you get their writing as well.

As odd as this is going to sound, WWE wrestler Kane aka Glenn Jacobs has a pretty good video out where he discusses Austrian economics. Sadly he wasn't in character so there were no choke slams but he comes across as fairly knowledgeable on the subject.

I propose an Austrian economics book club beginning with the book you referenced.

Discuss a new chapter each predetermined period (e.g. Every other day, every week, etc.). That way we really drill down on each chapter and don't have responses in the thread bouncing around too much.

May make sense for us to keep an inventory for the book club or maybe even setup a shared goodreads account to save book lists. This one would definitely need to be added.

Ya, as in you'll be exhausted from lugging that damn tome around

Amazing book though. Took forever to get through, but well worth it.

Bureaucracy and The Anti-Capitalistic Mentality by Ludwig von Mises are pretty darn good.
