Anyone have recommendations on the best translation of Beowulf?

Pretty sure the Seamus Heaney translation is considered the best.

I used to teach Beowulf back when I taught classes, and that was the consensus, then. I wasn’t sure if something better had come along since then.

After you read Beowulf, read Grendel by John Gardner. There are always two sides to every story.
