Are you using Goodreads or another app to track what you read?

I've used goodreads for several years. It is great for reading book reviews and tracking what I've read and want to read.

I try to keep track of everything on goodreads. I like to be able to look back and see how many books I read in a year.

I think my kindle does it automatically for me now, which is nice.

What is your typical average? I'm around 25. Got off to a slow start this year...had issues getting into books.

I think Goodreads is one of the best apps out there. I wouldn't be where I am now, as far as know what to read next, if it wasn't for that.

I average 28-30 books a year with an average page count of around 500.

I look at Goodreads from time-to-time, but for tracking my reads, I use an Excel spreadsheet I came up with. This is a screenshot of the bottom of the spreadsheet:

I love Goodreads. Its a great place to keep track of what all I want to read, and what all I have already read. I like the goal tracker too.

Yep, same. Except it has messed up my "currently reading" shelf. Its always 1 book less than I am currently reading. Most times it will be at 0. After finishing a book, it will say I am currently reading -1 books

I love Goodreads and recommend it to all.

Before Goodreads, I'd set things aside and never get around to them. With the goal tracker for some reason it keeps me on task and I feel obligated to do my reading so that I don't end up with books marked as "Currently Reading" for months on end.

Amazon bought them a few years ago, but still a great resource for book hunting and reviewing.

Goodreads keeps me on-track as well and reminds me of the stupid books I put on the list a few years ago and never got around to reading.

The last couple of years I'm between 35-50. That's making a real effort to read as much as possible. Typical years before that 10-15 probably.

I'm thoroughly impressed by your dedication, evidenced by that spreadsheet, sir. Seriously. That's hard core
