The Infancy Gospel of Thomas is about Jesus as a child. Turns out he was a little bastard.

Yes for historical perspective and the grammar, meanings of words through translation

Would be nice to find a leather edition or nice hardback copy. Looks like paperbacks and cheap crap is all there is unless I want to buy a complete Bible

Check Defender Publishing. They have offered something nice like this before.

The Apocrypha no.
Enoch yes, it tells you about the Bible and lots on many things in the Bible little is written.
Like why the four fallen Angels come out of nowhere that are buried under the Euphrates River in the Book of Revelation.
What are the fallen Angels, what happened to the fallen Angels, were do demons come from and what and who are they and why they are still around.
Here is another major link to an event in the Gospel, Caesarea Philippi.
Matthew 16 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
1 4And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
What is going on when this event takes place:
Christ, lead the disciples to the very spot the Fallen Angels made their pack against Haven.
This is why this comes next in Matthew 16:
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The real gate of Hell is Ba'al-gad or Ba'al-hermon on Mount Herron, this is were the Fallen Angels made their pack.
This is where Christ took the disciples to ask the question.
The person writing the Book of Enoch has to have seen are heard the firsthand accounts of what happened before the flood.
I have not looked into the math of the book.
The Book of Enoch is in 3 sects Bibles and is the closest of any book out there that maybe divine inspirited.

Just chiming in to say Enoch I-read. Enoch 2&3-avoid. There is Enoch ggf of Noah and another enoch son of cain. Is no certainty that 2&3 were from the Enoch who was taken up with God.
