The Indianapolis Colts signed former four-year basketball player at the University of Miami Erik Swoope, on Sunday to play tight end.
Swoop is 6-foot-5, 220-pounds and has never played organized football at any level.
Swoope started 27 of 110 basketball games while playing forward with the Miami Hurricanes. He was one of 19 un-drafted free agents that the Colts signed on Sunday.
