Ohio State Trademarking "Urban Meyer Knows"

According to USA Today, coaches trademarking their names and phrases is the next big thing to hit college football. And apparently, Clemson and Ohio State are leading the way. First, Clemson...

So what happens when these coaches leave the schools, do the trademarks stay with the universities or go with the coach? Since they are under the school's licensing programs, I assume they can't take them with them. Nick and Jimmy ain't lettin' nobody trademark Nickisms but Nick.
