USC's Orgeron Couldn't Be Happier After Win

USC's interim coach Ed Orgeron couldn't have been happier after his Trojans beat Arizona 38-31 Thursday night. Orgeron's response was great...
quote:

“Just happy. Wish I could have thrown the Gatorade on them, give them all the game balls. Really, I mean that. I’ve been coaching for 27 years and plan on coaching until I’m 70. It’s for these guys. I watched them hurt. I just wanted a change for them. I really mean that. To see them happy, to see the celebrate and feeling good, a little pep in their step, that’s all I wanted. I did tell the guys I would treat them like my sons. When you see your sons hurting, you hurt for them. We just wanted them to feel good. That’s all this was about.”

“I think it’s really nice of them. We’re close. We’re all really close, you guys know that. I’ve been here a long time. But this is not about anything I do; this is about those young men out there. We set out two weeks ago to take this one game at a time and to give them the best effort for them to enjoy playing football. That’s what’s really critical to what we’re doing. Our coaching staff did a great job. The leadership, Hayes Pullard, the parents, and everybody staying together through tough times and fighting through adversity, I thought it was A+. It was A+ the last two weeks.

“I had a blast. I think I woke up happy for the first time in my life this morning besides the day I married my wife and had my kids. I’m not a happy guy, but today I was happy. I don’t know why. I just had that feeling of happiness to be able to represent USC.”
Here's his whole presser if want to watch.

Sounds like he is pushing pretty hard to get his name in the discussion for head coach. SC would be crazy to even consider it.

I hope they hire him, he guarantees failure for many years at Usc..they are the one pac team that can recruit like the sec...so I'd rather them stay down.
