Tom Izzo Responds To Barkley’s Big Ten Diss

Here's what Charles Barkley had to say about the Big Ten...

Michigan State’s Tom Izzo quickly responded to Charles Barkley’s assessment on Sunday that both the Mountain West and Pac-12 were better conferences leading into the NCAA tournament.
quote:

“I had a message to Steve Smith to ask Charles where Auburn is in this tournament,”
Izzo told reporters on Monday. Auburn, Barkley’s alma mater, went an unsightly 9–23 this season and finished at the bottom of the SEC.

I think Izzo should've taken a shot at Barkley himself than Auburn.

What does Auburn or the SEC in general have to do with what Barkley said?
