Miss St. Player Received Money From Booster

A football coach in Nashville, Tenn., says he saw Mississippi State freshman defensive back Will Redmond receive money from a booster during the recruiting process.
quote:

"Byron De'Vinner called in to WXWX radio in Mississippi on Tuesday, saying the "handshake" was worth about $200 and that former Mississippi State assistant coach Angelo Mirando knew about the payment Multiple media outlets have reported De'Vinner confirmed he called WXWX's "Head to Head" show."
Mirando resigned from his position at Mississippi State on Aug. 19 due to "unforeseen personal issues."

Miss. State is going to have to up the ante' if they ever want to get anywhere in SEC play. Two hundred dollars is chump change.

No wonder they didn't get Cam Newton. They couldn't afford him.

Only $200, no wonder they always struggle in SEC play.
