Alabama Coaches Tied To Ex-Miami Booster
by Larry Leo
August 17, 20111 Comments
Former Miami Booster Nevin Shapiro has told Yahoo! Sports that first year Alabama assistants Jeff Stoutland and Joe Pannunzio helped steered recruits to him by bringing prospects to his home or luxury suite for recruiting pitches. Stoutland is Bama's offensive line coach after holding that position at Miami from 2007-10. Pannunzio is director of football operations for the Tide, but spent the past five years as the Hurricanes' tight ends coach/special teams coordinator.
