Georgia coach Mark Richt spoke with the media on Wednesday and said that the Bulldogs will know whether star running back Todd Gurley will be reinstated to play before boarding a plane to Arkansas on Friday morning. Per ESPN:

Per NCAA rules, Gurley would face a potential one-game suspension (10 percent of the team's competition) if he accepted improper benefits ranging from $100 to $400. The penalty would increase to two games (20 percent) for amounts from $400 to $700, and to four games (30 percent) for amounts greater than $700.

"We'll definitely know in plenty of time before we get on the plane," Richt told reporters. "If we know he's able to play, he'll travel. If he's not able, he won't. He has been practicing and getting some reps."
Georgia plays at Arkansas on Saturday.
