Following the Tigers 35-29 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday night, former NFL star Deion Sanders tweeted LSU freshman quarterback Brandon Harris.

Harris came into the game during the 4th quarter and went 6/9 for 140 yards for 2 TD's and 1 INT. Both of his touchdown passes went to freshman wide receiver Malachi Dupre.

We could care less if he doesn't know the play book. Teach him 10 plays and let that dog hunt. Call it trash time, second string, whatever. Just don't call him off the bench. He's a PLAYER - give him the damn ball.

I'd love to see him start next week and continue on. Use this year to season him for next year. He's going to be some player with a little experience under his belt.

I was at the game until the end, just to finally watch Harris play. The entire mood of the stadium (what was left of it on the LSU side, anyway) shifted upward when he went in. This can also be said of the entire LSU football team (offensive and defensive). Meanwhile, you could tell MSU and their fans were getting nervous near the end. Rightfully so. Without question, Harris is our quarterback. Now. Not in the future.
