Multiple sources are reporting that Georgia fullback Merritt Hall's college career will come to an end because of concussions. Per Telegraph:

Hall received a medical disqualification, quarterback Hutson Mason confirmed after Wednesday's practice. That means that Hall remains on scholarship his final two years while not counting against Georgia's scholarship cap.

Hall started seven games at fullback over the past two years.

"Merritt said it wasn't necessarily how many concussions he has, it was how he responded to the last concussions, the symptoms he was having, they kind of threw a red flag about," Mason said.
Georgia head coach Mark Richt has yet to confirm the news and was supposed to brief reporters after Wednesday's practice but has postposed his media session until Thursday.

Good luck to this young man. At least he got to play in the SEC at the highest level and will get a degree from a good school. Go on with life. See ya at the tailgate party.
