Suspended Alabama D-Linemen Return To Practice

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
University of Alabama defensive linemen Jarran Reed and Brandon Ivory returned to practice on Thursday after being suspended for the first week of training camp. Linebacker Tim Williams who was also suspended was not at practice on Thursday. Per AL.com:
quote:

Two of the three suspended players returned to practice Thursday. Defensive linemen Jarran Reed and Brandon Ivory were out there in helmets and shorts. Linebacker Tim Williams, whose suspension was also announced last Friday, was not spotted. Reed and Ivory must do the same five-day acclamation period that the rest of the team already completed. Both were standing to the side as the rest of the defense went through group drills during the media viewing period.

Alabama moved Thursdays practice indoors to get out of the heat.

"Saban is sooo harsh"

I guess he could have had a team vote.

Wow that's great give them an extra week off before practice starts. Saban is a true disaplanarian. Do something meaningful and reduce these guys snaps where it counts game time. Even a half or quarter would have been less of a joke then this.

"MCFERRIN ATHLETIC CENTER

The Aggies have the benefit of practicing in the McFerrin Athletic Center, which allows the team to stay out of the Texas heat during the summer and eliminates lost practices due to weather."

You will never see an Aggie practice moved indoors to avoid heat.
