Current value: $420 million
Revenue: $116 million
Operating profit: $11 million

The Pelicans opened the 2013-14 with a new name, a renovated arena and a franchise record for season ticket sales. Owner Benson instituted dramatic price cuts to tickets this season to stem low attendance, which was the NBA's second worst during the 2012-13 season at just 13,803 per game. The result is roughly 12,000 season ticket sales compared to 11,800 when the team won a franchise-record 56 games during the 2007-08 season.
Here is the Top 10:

#1 New York Knicks - Current value: $1.4 billion
#2 Los Angeles Lakers - Current value: $1.35 billion
#3 Chicago Bulls - Current value: $1 billion
#4 Boston Celtics - Current value: $875 million
#5 Brooklyn Nets - Current value: $780 million
#6 Houston Rockets - Current value: $775 million
#7 Miami Heat - Current value: $770 million
#8 Dallas Mavericks - Current value: $765 million
#9 Golden State Warriors - Current value: $750 million
