On Monday night the Texas Longhorns lost to the Oregon Ducks 30-7 in the Alamo Bowl. The lost meant a couple of things, but most importantly it marked the end of the Mack Brown era at the University of Texas. Now its time for the University to find a new coach.

Per ESPN...

Texas athletic director Steve Patterson said Monday that he hopes to hire the Longhorns' next coach by Jan. 15.

"We have to be back open for business in the middle of the month once the dead period ends," Patterson said. "The coach has to put together a staff and get up and running, keep the recruits we got and fill up any spots we've got open."

There are plenty of rumors and candidates for the Texas job, including but not limited to Jimbo Fisher, Charlie Strong, and Gus Malzahn. Who do you think will be the Texas coach next year?
