It was quite a weekend for LSU Football recruiting as the Tigers were able to pull in three verbal commitments this past Saturday.

Four-star defensive tackle Dare Rosenthal from Ferriday, LA (Ferriday HS) and his high school teammate Dantrieze Scott who plays tight end and defensive end both committed during LSU's OL/DL camp in Baton Rouge this weekend.

LSU now has 18 verbal commitments for the class of 2018 with the addition of Rosenthal and Scott.

The third commitment came from 2019 offensive tackle Thomas Perry from Lafayette, LA (Teurlings Catholic) who also attended LSU's camp this weekend. Perry is LSU's sixth verbal commitment for the class of 2019.

"trending this way,'' "leaning like a lamp post,'' "anchored but the rope is sliding over the side of the boat,'' "planted like a daisy.'' I'll stop, ha ha ha.

This is not directed towards these three young men at all, but the terminology for these decisions needs to be changed from "commitment".
