As noted in comment, 8 seeds do not meet 2 seeds. 8/9 winner plays 1 seed or 4 seed.

the initial opponents are the real deal. Mich State has a championship coach. Dayton has a rich tradition and a fan base that travels well. LSU needs to keep winning. We are a month out yet. These match ups will change 5 or 6 times. LSU wins 8 in a row, Dayton drops one. Those seeds are just a moment in time, AS IF, it were seeded today, but its not today. its not even February yet. The tournament is in March.
