I married my wife partly because she has one of the best senses of humor I've ever experienced with the other sex. She makes me and our kids laugh all the time. But I agree with your premise...most are really not that funny.

Whenever I am in a manager's meeting or something with my peers I look around and see their responses to whatever the big boss is saying. If he says something stupid i can see whoever has the same way of thinking by the way they look around at the responses (like I'm doing).There is nothing like seeing a pretty woman that "sees" things the same way you do and then laughs at the same jokes you do. Its a big turn on in my book.

Not sure that's true.
I think humor is something that becomes competitive to men in a way that it does not to women. Men judge each other by how funny they are. I don't think women do.

Women aren't funny because they don't have to be funny. Men have to be funny to get a girl's attention. A woman just has to offer up sex and she can have all the attention she wants. Men have to work on humor and game and all kinds of things to get ahead while a woman just has to offer her body to get attention or even money.

This does it for me. My first wife(no pics) was as dumb as a brick but had HUGE tits. I was blinded by them. Marriage didn't last long. My current wife(also no pics) has a masters degree. Makes me laugh, can hold a conversation, but isnt good at jeopardy because even if she knows the answer she can't answer in time. Which is funny because she was a cop and handled high-pressure situations all the time. She hates jeopardy as much as I love it for that same reason
