I had to research because I simply didn’t believe it. But yes, the land whale won some form of miss Alabama. This isn’t the Miss Alabama that competes for miss America but still…gross. Not even a pretty fat chick. Looks like me with a wig on...

Due to vacation I went ahead and started week 3 of PHAT upper power today rather than waiting til Monday. It’s pretty sobering to see how far my bench has fallen since March. There’s reasons for it, hopefully my neck isn’t one of them, but I still don’t like it. On the plus side, all the body...
Keep us updated. I need to do this with my wife too, but she really doesn’t like the gym atmosphere.
Mine either. It helps that the machines/cardio is all in one big room and the free weights are in another. The problem will be when she's ready to go in 30 mins and i'll only be hal...

Wife started her first morning today. She's a former athlete (25 years ago), with zero weight training or any training really since then. I'm really asking for advice because I just started her with machines and some DB work. Very easy 2 sets of anywhere from 5-15. Reps depended on if she could ...

I decided to just pick up where I left off on PHAT. I use the boostcamp app for PHAT because I don't want to drag around a log book in the gym. Might get in the way of all the guys doing curls and triceps. Really guys? Everyday? The squat bar isn't that scary once you get used to it. Anyway...
, i suggest looking at the explosive mechanics insta page and seeing the freaks Jared produces
I just looked this up. Holy shite! I almost call bull shite on some of those lifts. My goodness, that one kid box squats 600lbs and maybe weighs 170-180lbs at only 17 years old...
It was around 88/89 at my school.
How does something like that spread pre internet? We lived in podunk Alabama, so it’s not like we had our ear to the ground on trends. Maybe there just wasn’t much to do in those days...
I don’t care how crazy it sounds but a buddy of mine started this trend. Early 90s he brings a yo-yo to school and I remember thinking “what the hell? Who plays with a yo-yo?” Slowly over the school year more kids have them. The next year there are commercials and everyone has them. ...
Im with you. I hate the “hur hur powerlifter taking a nap between sets” crowd. Sure I only need a minute rest doing fricking lat raises. Hit 505 for 5 on squats and tell me how much rest you damn need. ...
Oh he’s gassed but when I tried it last year it took me about 35 mins for the main stuff. There’s still jumps, throws, facepulls, and I always throw in rows as well. So, the whole workout takes him 35-40 mins, just the main is less than 20 mins...
My son finishes krypteia in less than 20 mins. That seems too fast but that’s using accurate training maxes. He uses 50lb dumbbells for the other stuff, so it’s not like it’s 5lb weights. LSU, is that enough? ...

PHAT week 2 will be cut short for vacation, but the two power days and the back hypertrophy day went great. I’m debating on just starting where I left off or skipping to week 3. It will be Tuesday when I’m back in town. ...
