Don't look down on the wetlands. The marshes and swamps of Louisiana are world class.

Bull shite. I’m in TX, the food in the panhandle sucks balls. And I just threw another pound of glorified hot dogs trying to pass as sausage.

I don’t disagree with much of what you said because I haven’t lived there in 46 years but I would offer one addendum to your statement…

I recently visited Vicksburg, MS with some friends who hailed from North Mississippi, East Tennessee, and the mountains of North Carolina. I suggested we drive across the border for one singular purpose: They were all enthralled and amazed at the idea of a drive thru daiquiri bar where you could purchase a 32 ounce Big Booty Judy (or whatever the hell you want) without coming to a complete stop and then head back to wherever you came from.

Whatever you want to say about Louisiana, that is a special treat.

Then you can throw in the inexplicable voodoo that is the occasional lightning in a bottle for LSU football.

Son and his friends went crabbing today. I just finished boiling and eating the boiled crabs.

Go to crawfish drive through about once a week.

Don’t deal with hoodlums on the North Shore.

I have traveled to most states but not looking to move at this point.

I grew up in Louisiana but have lived in Houston, Dallas, NYC, and Denver at times in my life. I’ve moved back to BR. I missed the people here and their humor, their joy in simple things, and ability to make anything fun. That’s what I found lacking in other places. I can work anywhere, and chose to do it here.

We’ve got a lot of interesting history.

Can you imagine growing up in Idaho?

Their state history books are double-spaced, single-sided Jehovah’s Witness sized pamphlets.

Sounds like you don't live in Louisiana and you probably shouldn't comment.

Sir, look for divorced women over 37+, that's everywhere. But it's not you using them, it's them using you. YMMV.
