You realize that Lake barely lost the governor’s race, right?

Final results from the election:

Hobbs - 50.3% - 1,287,891
Lake - 49.6%- 1,270,724

This poll is clearly an outlier. No way Lake underperforms her 2022 totals, esp in a bad year for Dems nationally.

Pissing on McCain voters. He sucked, but you need those voters if you want to win

Sorry but 17,167 “McCain voters” aren’t the reason Lake lost. White, suburban moms were. Trump won AZ in 2016 after saying he respected heroes that didn’t get captured, like McCain. The Republican base was done with McCain after 2008. Quit with the revisionist history.

They weren't done with him in Arizona.

Face up to the fact she's a shite candidate

That's a ton of bad shite right there.

How has she explained her change of tune??

I have never seen her utter one word that resembles that past.

I agree that would be a hard pill to swallow in supporting her now.

She should explain her change of affiliation.

thanx for the info

my only interest here is in fair commentary. this is the first piece of data I've seen supporting the 'hate'

If I were in place to vote for her, I'd need an explanation of her change in company

This has been my data point - I don't have time to research candidates I cannot vote for.

McCain straight up lied to Arizona voters in his last campaign. Promised to repeal Obamacare then gave it the thumbs down. McCain alienated his own voters more than anyone else.

This CBS poll is a suppression poll. It’s designed to make news and encourage Republicans to embrace a Jeff Flake candidate. Lake still gives the GOP the best chance to win in a State that is increasingly moving leftward thanks to white suburban women, and California refugees.

Lake is an awful candidate but if you think people would pull the lever for Trump but not Lake that makes zero sense.

Voters do dumb shite all the time and Lake is a truly horrid candidate.

And voters don't put as much value on a Senator so they'll piss on her versus holding their nose.

I bet if you look at the poll internals it's Arizona women that don't like Lake.

Lake's dog doesn't like her.

That just isn’t true. There are good candidates out there. The problem is loudmouth grifters like Kari Lake saw an opportunity and jumped. Republicans weren’t acting behalf of their voters. There was a void there to fill. Then people like Kari Lake came in and said all the right things and people ignored the fact that they were saying the opposite thing five minutes prior.

If Kari Lake is the best republicans can offer, stick a fork in the party. They are dead forever

I'm sure Stacey Abrams supporters thought the same thing
