Superintendent has to present a balanced budget. The budget includes a $1300 across the board permanent salary increase for all school level employees. Last year there was a $4000 stipend but stipends are not permanent. The stipend last year largely came from cash reserves. Several school board memb...
Nice statement from someone who would have ruined a normal guys life. It is obvious there was not intent to injure (according to court records the charge was immediately reduced to a misdemeanor when a city attorney received it). Should have been a ticket at most, but an average guy would have spent...

I was a member. Good course with plenty of tough holes that could test your game. Par 5s on the back were easy birdies, but 13 was one of the harder par 4s in BR. There was not room to expand the course. It would have been better by making 10 and 14 par 4s and the course par 70. It has really ki...
I have spent some time in Chile. It has a good standard of living, stability, and good medical care. You can live in the mountains or the beach. Chileans generally like Americans. Cost of living is about 75% of US. You really need to speak Spanish ....
too lazy to wade through all of this, how does this factor into the incident
If they drop the case, it concedes the cop at least mislead on charge. DUI defendants will use that to impeach Gillis's credibility in their DUI cases if he was arresting officer. Gillis's main job is as a...
Definitely doesn’t look like he was drug at all. His hat is visible the whole time including before Scottie pulled up. It looks like Scottie rolled past him ignoring instructions, then Gillis gets triggered running him down and hitting the car with his flashlight. He probably only charged him to cov...

Mayor basically said he hopes this is over on the 3rd....
The charge would get reduced for anyone. For 2nd degree assault they have to prove he intentionally used the car to injure. 4th degree is reckless assault. But for anyone else with a clean record they would just get reckless driving and some sort of pretrial diversion like an online class and no arr...
Should have been 4th degree assault. Which is reckless physical injury. For 2nd degree, they would have to prove he was intentionally trying to hit the cop. Definitely a LEO over reach situation on the charge....

Any recommendations on snorkeling gear? And where to buy?...
I have about 1.7. Not about to retire. I keep 200k in high yield savings, 200k in short term Laddered CDs. Making around 5% on this 400. The other 1.3 is in a fee based managed account that has averaged about 8% after fees and taxes over the last 5 years. My risk preference has been moderate. My ...

My parents retired in their mid 40s. They traveled around the country and volunteered at state parks. They didn't regret it. I am now in my mid 40s and I have enough to retire now, but I will probably work another 5-10 years until my youngest kid finishes college. We want to do some extended trav...

I called Estates by Two Sisters. The estate was not large enough for them but they gave me the name of someone who does smaller sales. I will post my recommendation on them after the sale. Our sale is in the 3000-4000 range. ...
