Tomorrow’s going to suck if it’s really going to get into the 90s.

Feels like is supposed to be in upper 90s. Yes that will be shitty. My generator is going with 1 AC unit but that only gets you so far

Anyone in Katy 77449 area have any updates? Our son and his wife and baby are here this weekend for a family event. They’re not able to get any idea of anything from CenterPoint or their provider (idk how it works there) is Tx something or other.

They obviously are trying to plan ahead with a 6 month old.

They're like 2 miles south iirc from the cypress mess.

We're south of I-10 from them and got our power back at 2:30 AM yesterday, but not positive on their area other than that my wife works up in that general area and they had power yesterday.

No power 77008 and 77007... Although seeing sporadic claims that its up in areas of 77007 in the last 30.

Centerpoint is getting ripped to shreds and rightfully so. Generic statement late last nigh and outtage tracker not working.

People saying just give estimates by area so people know if they need to start heading out when the temps hit low 90s by early afternoon.

We are in Cypress just north of where those high tension power lines crumpled.

One of my sons friends houses was hit by the tornado and looks as if it were blown up. Thankfully the family was safe, by some miracle. They climbed out of that wreckage unscathed.

Parts of the neighborhood are getting power back so I’m hopeful our time is soon. Been running the essentials on my generator so we won’t lose any stored food.

Very grateful my family is safe. Very grateful for the linemen out there busting arse.

We were very fortunate.

My place off i10 near Jester had never lost power through all the other storms. This is the first time in 15yrs and its still out.

No power in 77018 still. Waking up hung over with no AC sucks but at least I have left over jambalaya. I wasn’t letting my stash of best stop andouille go to waste. Gumbo coming later before I decide if we’re leaving town or not.

Can’t post any pictures with my shite service but it rough around white oak bayou to 610

As bad as it is, so many people got lucky with trees falling rye right way. Plenty that didn’t

I’ll never buy a house within striking distance of a pine tree after this

Line crews are out and about but it’s going to be awhile

when I was a kid, my grandparents had 2 pine trees fall extremely close to their house during a tornado. They had every (20+) pine tree in their yard cut down after that. Completely understand.

Like I said yesterday, I know they say there are 4K line workers out, but I haven’t seen one in 77007 or 77008 close to i10
