re: In the market for a 3rd row vehicle.
Seems like the minivan case is STRONG when you have three kids. Two kids, SUV is still very feasible.
Agree.
3 or more kids I don’t even know how it’s a debate.
2 kids I could defend an suv but would still go minivan. Carpool is so much easier and driving the kids plus thei...

re: car seats when traveling by plane

We have always traveled by checking our car seats. They arent going to break.
To do so, you absolutely need to get a car seat bag with wheels and shoulder straps. It is a pain, but rental car companies can’t guaranty car seats so we’ve just brought ours. A few tips:
1. Curbside check wheneve...

The suburu ascent is a great car.
But . . . the minivan is so far superior to everything else you will consider with 3 kids. It laps every other option.
At least test drive one. Have a 2023 Honda odyssey. It’s the best car I’ve ever had. 3 kids and a Mardi Gras ladder without ever touching a...
1 and 2 are in a different tier when it comes to filmmaking and story. 3 is a fun romp and is my favorite. There is no story at all to 4.
This.
Except 4 does have the winter training montage which is the best montage, and also has a montage of Rocky remember past montages whic...
That’s the ones we know about, remember the Bucks getting Jrue came out nowhere. Competition drives up bidding.
Yea - except to date we’ve gotten very little value out of the jrue trade so hopefully there is more competition for Jrue. I personally never liked the jrue trade becaus...

I still feel cheated we didn’t get to see peak Jokic vs peak Doncic in a conference final. Would have been an all timer.
Denver really fell asleep there....

re: Israel–Hamas War Discussion Thread: News Links On First Page
Why not post the link to the 2017 charter?
Fair question - because I think the 2017 charter is purely PR and attempts to counter message people that point out Hamas was formed as a militant group determined to destroy Israel and convert by sword all who live in Palestine. Its chan...
re: America's Dallas Mavs vs Prince's Minnesota TWolves - WCF Game 3
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/27/24 at 12:09 am
That trade deadline was masterful work by Dallas. Gafford and Washington has turn this team into dawgs On top of that, Kyrie and Luka have figured out how to work together. They just take turns and dominate. If one ain’t hitting, they’re more than welcome to give it up to the other guy[/quot...
re: Luka & Kyrie with fires in their bellies going to continue to eat tonight
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/26/24 at 11:28 am
Seeing Luka in person was one of the real jumping off the Zion train moments for me.
Luka was out there looking a little heavy, but was also just moving his defender around at will with his shoulder.
And Zion weighs between 30-50 pounds more at basically the same height.
Lose the weight Zio...

re: Mavs vs T-wolves game 1
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/22/24 at 10:27 pm
Actually I retract a little. OKC held Luka to 25 ppg and lost every game he exceed that average.
That is terrific containing Luka (his three straight triple doubles to close out notwithstanding)....
re: Mavs vs T-wolves game 1
Posted by ned nederlander on 5/22/24 at 10:23 pm
Honestly I think you can live with Luka getting his 30-35 a game because frankly I don’t think you have a choice.
But minny didn’t seem to bother Kyrie nearly as much as OKC did. They have to contain Kyrie or they will see the exit real quick....
re: Who is Luka’s all-time player comparison?

He doesn’t really have one. Closest one is probably older Lebron when lebron ump’d his assists and become functionally a full time PG while still being the dominant scorer for his team
Otherwise take the general game of Jason Kidd, add Dame’s outside shot, and make that player as big as Magic.
