re: Anyone Else Tending A Smoker This Morning?
Posted by Cajunate on 5/27/24 at 6:39 am
Not this morning. I did put two big pork butts on at like 5:00 yesterday morning....
This was so good the last time I made it I had to do it again.

We did breakfast for dinner this evening. French toast and bacon would've been enough for me but I made scrambled eggs for anyone who wanted them.

After seasoning and adding a half sleeve of crushed saltine crackers and a couple of eggs I let the meat rest then shaped into pie shaped patties. Slice up a couple of onions 1/32" thin and after...

Not to disparage Central Grocery or Nor-Joe's muffuletta but for the money Bosco's is hard to beat, Nor Joe and Central make good sandwiches but the amount of meat you get on a Bosco's is easily double if not triple of what you get at Central Grocery or Nor Joe.
I was at Zuppardo's Sunday and ...

Went to Bosco's Italian Cafe in Mandeville for dinner with a friend last night with a friend. We both got 10" pizzas with personalized toppings.
I also ordered a whole muffaletta "to go" for eating today. Ended up having a 1/4 for dinner this evening.

These beans had lots of smokey ham leftover from the Easter ham we had.

Earlier today I put some Navy beans on to cook for dinner this evening.
