Raised 2 kids 6-7 hours away from the nearest grandparent, or relative. Believe in your choice that you are building a better life, and don't look back. We have had flexible employers that understand we need to take time off to get kids to events, and trade off who stays home when one is sick. Ma...
I’m still chomping at the bit for this new 2025 4Runner to drop so I can get a solid deal on a 23/24 TDR Pro.
That's not going to happen. It will cause gen 5 4Runners to increase in value. 2025 are going to price out $8-10K more, plus the reliability of the previous generation i...

Have had a few moments with our oldest child. Their opinion of me means nothing if I know I am right. Words are just that. They will still come to you when they get themselves deep in a bad situation, and you receive a phone call from college at 1:00 in the morning. They have to know that you ar...

If purchasing for screening, wait until winter to buy. There are male, and female, and the female thin in the winter to show off their fruit. Purchase males, if possible. How many feet off the property line depends on how large you plan to let them grow. I would plan for at least 6' centers, b...

I beat it. Hit 6.5, and the doctor gave me the same options. I dropped from 227 to 198 in 6 months strictly by changing my diet. Lose most breads, and pasta. I ate mostly meat and veggies, but still had an occasional cookie, or chocolate. No soft drinks, and 2 beers after cutting the grass. Di...

re: Walking for cardio/fat loss

Just started walking again, 2 weeks ago, as I rehab my leg. 2nd week, started mixing in a 1 minute run ever other day, adding 10% more each time. I enjoy the slow pace, peace and quiet, and time out of the house. Leave the phone at home, and no ear buds. Just the sound of birds, squirrels and an...

This is not new news. They are already on the road on 45, and have been for years. Only difference is that there is a human driver parked in the driver seat to override anything that would go wrong. They have many miles already tested....
