Nicholls/UC-Irvine (lsu related, reminded me of my hatred for UCI)

UCI coach was the SS in the 08 super regional at the old box. What a weekend. But man, f those small ball douches. bullshite hidden ball out on DJ where javi got tossed (link below) They also tried to deek us on a fake missed pick off throw at third but our runner (who was it, gif exists) told the th...
re: Listened to radio call, how bad was the home plate ump? Doug was livid all game
Bear hit a ball to Europe, turned around to fire up the dugout, and the lazy eye was activated.
Before he hit that hr I think there was a questionable low strike (per radio) and he asked the ump something and I’m like “well you’re fricked now…” next ball: bad called strike.

Listened to radio call, how bad was the home plate ump? Doug was livid all game
Posted by poochie on 5/31/24 at 2:45 pm
Doug was the most outspoken I’ve ever heard a radio guy, at one point saying “the ump must be blind in his right eye to miss these calls off the plate”. So how bad were they? It sounded like we couldn’t figure out what was a ball or strike and it really put a wet blanket on our bats.
Was he bad ...
I'll agree with this. I have a Zero turn, Im not pushing a reel.
You can dominate with any kind of mower. Obviously reel would exude the most dominance but having a level yard and weed management are equally important.
My yard isn’t level enough for my zero turn (to dominat...
re: Need advice for scaffolding to paint fascia on house

you can double stack bakers scaffolds, did it when working on a 14' ceiling. And they make outriggers for added stability. So buying an extra set may cost the same as trying to rig up what you want. Plus you'll have it for life... ...

I may be a bit extra but I keep the top level and cut every picket to length 2” above the ground. I just go through and measure from ground to the bottom of one of the runners. Do math for the total length, then cut and stack them in order. Yes, it takes extra time. Yes, it looks better. ...

Lots of Bermuda dominators here. I find in the outside world lots of people want to be dominators until it’s time to do dominator things. ...

I preferred wear farms to the Ripken facility. Nice close together setup, easy in and out, walking track around the outside plus a creek at the base of the mountain backdrop so plenty for siblings to so. ...
For the cost of installing 3 more posts you end up with a beefier fence . It is straighter, stronger for minimal cost and effort considering he is using an auger. 14 foot 2x are generally straighter than 16s in this day of crappy lumber.
A post could work loose in wet soil. I guess it could do the same with concrete but it gives you more weight and surface area losing against the earth when taking that horizontal load.
I don’t think the rocks do any good since the water is going to drain through earth as well. Good point in conc...
