D1 Baseball yesterday still did not have LSU in the field of 64.

They also only had 9 SEC teams in, which I think is wrong. I think SEC is getting a minimum of 10 unless there’s an insane amount of bids being stolen next week. The committee isn’t going to take less SEC teams in a deeper league year

Yeah, there’s no way anyone can convince me LSU isn’t one of the top 64 teams in the country.

I don’t really like the numbers as they are right now. I know we are one of the best 32 at large teams, but I don’t have faith that the committee does. We’ll see come selection day.

Their latest field was before the Ole Miss series. I’m going to bet we are last 4 in, in the next projection which is likely coming out tommorrow

Ole miss was a top 25 rpi team to start the series and has the #1 SOS in the country. They aren’t a bad team to sweep.

If not for one errant throw last weekend against Bama in the B9 with 2 outs, LSU would have finished in the top half of the SEC standings. Instead we are 11th which is not representative of the talent of this club. ELO rankings today have LSU as #13 team in the country ahead of every team were deadlocked with.
